To develop the standards of healthcare sector in Macedonia, Apollo Hospitals Group the biggest healthcare chain in India and The Republic of Macedonia signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) to provide training courses for the healthcare professionals. The agreement on behalf Ministry of Health was signed by Anne Marie Moncure, CEO, Apollo Hospitals Group, southern region and Toni Atanasovski, Republic of Macedonia ambassador in India.

Internal medicine, surgery, cardio surgery, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, cardiology, pediatrics, gynecology, anesthesiology, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, ophthalmology, ENT, neurology, dermatology & venereal diseases, radiology, radiotherapy, urology, plastic surgery, nuclear medicine, robotics and transplant are the key specialties included in the agreement (List of Notified Medical Devices in India).

Anne after thanking the Government of Macedonia said, “By this partnering, Apollo’s healthcare structure will directly benefit the Republic of Macedonia as they provide quality education, training to healthcare workers and the launch of telemedicine will help physicians and patients in Macedonia”. Toni told that, “We welcome the Apollo group to raise the standards and infrastructure of Health care sector in Macedonia”. The Apollo group was one of the top hospitals groups in India established 30 years ago.
